Premiere of Two Upcoming Projects
The team of Déjà-Vu
On March 27 we celebrated the team premiere of two short films which I not only wrote the scores for, but also acted as the sound supervisor. What does that mean? I made sure the sound design, sound mix and score worked together to form a cohesive final product. On top of that it meant that most communication between director and sound department went through me.
The premiere took place at the Zoo Palast Berlin, which is one of the largest screens in the city and hosts many Hollywood premieres. That made it quite a unique experience that we got to share with around 550 people.
I’m extremely proud of the entire sound department, that has worked tirelessly on these films for many months and pulled multiple all-nighters. Seeing and hearing the films in this huge cinema was amazing!
The timing for the releases of the scores is still uncertain, as they depend on the releases of the films.
“Present” OUT NOW - Two More Scores In Development
directed by R.S. Jon
The short film score “Present” is out now on all major streaming platforms, so go have a listen if you haven’t checked it out yet! :)
I’m super excited about this one since I haven’t had an official release for about two years. It’s nice to see a new album on my artist pages now.
If you liked Present and want more, there are two bonus tracks available on bandcamp, entirely for free when downloading the album.
Everyone who pays any amount for the album will also receive signed sheet music for “Cadoul” with a personal thank you note.
So what’s next? Two more scores are already in development, both for short films. But that’s pretty much all I can say at this point.
My goal is to release at least one of the scores this year, but it might not be entirely in my hands, since both films aren’t completely finished as of now.
